ONDAO MOBILE SCHOOL IN NAMIBIA

Namibia Association of Norway (NAMAS) has developed and runs a unique Mobile School Programme offering basic education to the indigenous and semi-nomadic Himba people in Northern Namibia.

Stork Project’s Aluronda Convertible classrooms have been chosen for this programme for their qualities including long time life span, no need for maintenance, easy handling under transportation, erection and dismantling, and last but not least: the coolness facilitating pleasant working conditions for teachers and pupils.

NAMAS celebrated the 25-years anniversary of its activities in Namibia.
A group of Aluronda Convertible classrooms and a Ronda the Forest Saver as a Teacher`s House were erected at the UN Plaza in Windhoek to give a site for demonstration of NAMAS Ondao Mobile School Educational Programme for the Himba People.
The Aluronda Convertible classrooms contribute significantly to a lively and active learning process
